Responsible management.
From the first acknowledgment.
Transparency is part of operations: employees know that company equipment is managed and accept an acknowledgment notice.
Legal basis depends on context
The company must assess and document the appropriate legal basis for each processing purpose. Legitimate interest requires an assessment of necessity, expectations and data subject rights; it is not unrestricted permission to monitor.
Where applicable, consent must be freely given, informed and unambiguous. In employment relationships, its validity requires careful consideration of freedom of choice. Acknowledgment alone does not replace this assessment.
An open relationship
Zelador is intended for corporate equipment provided to employees. The product includes a versioned notice and an acceptance record. Explain the purposes and monitored data in advance.
Zelador is not intended for covert surveillance or monitoring personal devices.
Necessary data. Defined timeframes.
Companies must limit collection to what is necessary for the stated purposes and define retention periods consistent with their operations and obligations. Retention, deletion and technical procedures need to be agreed and documented; this website does not advertise controls that have not been confirmed.
Data subject rights
The organization responsible for processing must provide a channel for requests such as confirmation, access, correction and other applicable rights. The privacy channel, responsible parties and handling procedure are being defined before final documents are published.
Using a tool does not automatically ensure compliance. Internal policies, legal assessment and company practices are also part of responsible management.
